Pesona Mandiri Nusa Dua Festival (NDF) 2017 diselenggarakan untuk ke-21 kalinya. Tahun ini, NDF tepat jatuh pada 11-15 Oktober 2017, di Pulau Peninsula The Nusa Dua, Bali. Rangkaian kegiatan mengasyikan diberi tahu untuk para pengunjung. Berita bergembira, tidak dipungut biaya untuk masuk ke NDF.
"Penyelenggaraan Nusa Dua Fiesta ini nampak lebih Indonesia. Ini pertama kalinya mayoritas penyelenggara dari pihak sponsor. Dengan adanya Nusa Dua Fiesta, Nusa Dua tidak cuma diketahui sebagai tempat formal meeting melainkan juga informal leisure," kata Menteri Pariwisata Arief Yahya pada hari pembukaan NDF.
Sejumlah 83 stand masakan akan memanjakan lidah pengunjung dengan hidangan lokal khas Bali dan luar negeri. Ada pula stand restoran kopi lokal Bali, di mana pengunjung dapat membeli olahan kopi dan biji kopi spesialisasi tempat di Indonesia. Bagi yang berkeinginan belajar memasak atau menyaksikan kompetisi masak, tidak ada salahnya untuk berkunjung ke stan Indonesian Chef Association. Anda juga dapat melakukan wine and cheese tasting di sini. Para pecinta fotografi dapat ikut serta dalam persaingan fotografi. Ada pula kompetisi membikin latte art tercantik di Latte Art Battle, persaingan membikin kopi sendiri, kompetisi menggambar dari Museum Pasifika, serta kancah ibu dan si kecil menggambar wajah berpasangan.
Sebagai hiburan, zona Pulau Peninsula di The Nusa Dua yang diselimuti rumput hijau disulap menjadi lokasi untuk menonton pertunjukkan musik dan layar tancap. Memperlihatkan film-film dari festival film Balinale, fashion show, laser light, penampilan tarian K-pop, cosplay Jepang, dan taman bermain khusus anak.
Deretan penyanyi Bali dan Tanah Air seperti Balawan, Joni Agung, Gus Teja, Nidji, Rendy Pandugo, serta Andra and The Backbone juga akan menghibur pengunjung secara tidak dipungut bayaran. Anda tidak perlu membeli karcis masuk di NDF. Bagi yang berharap memberi bantuan terhadap pengungsi Gunung Agung, bisa membawa donasi ke acara NDF. Nantinya ITDC (Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation) penyelenggara dari NDF akan menyalurkan langsung ke para pengungsi. Simak info seputar

Direktur Utama ITDC, Abdulbar M Mansoer mengucapkan acara NDF yakni sebuah acara tahunan bentuk apresiasi kepada tenant dan hotel, dengan tujuan menyampaikan liburan terhadap wisatawan. NDF sejatinya dilaksanakan pada waktu low season guna menarik para wisatawan dan bisa datang kembali tahun depan. Target NDF tahun ini mencapai 30.000 pengunjung.
